Population growth, urbanisation and climate variability place ever greater strain on city governments to manage growth and provide key services to populations. IMQS Software builds specialised, GIS software to help municipalities in emerging economies better manage their infrastructure and pave the road for the Smart City Management of the future.

Something Creative was initially approached for a short, 3-month contract to provide support to their in-house design team. The value we provided ensured an extended relationship with this valued client. We structured a monthly retainer based on their requirements, offering marketing and design services to their sales and customer support teams.

Copywriting

Copywriting was a central service provided to IMQS in this marketing retainer. Something Creative worked closely with IMQS’s head of marketing to build and maintain key digital-marketing products including – a monthly blog, email newsletter, animated product videos, case studies as well as Ebooks. All content was written by the Something Creative staff writer.

Information Design

93% of human communication is visual, as images communicate information faster and more effectively than words. For IMQS to better communicate the value of their software, we developed a visual language and design system to be used for infographics and motion graphics. These assets were incorporated in blogs, case studies and ebooks to successfully communicate technical information and product application to audiences of varying computer literacy and technical ability.

We used motion graphics to create more engaging materials by animating information to tell a dynamic story. From product fact sheets to more elaborate explainer videos, these motion graphics offered additional sales enablement material to turn interested leads into informed buyers.
